Seafarers Training Center, Inc. (STC) was founded in 2002, with the compromise in maintaining a safe and secure environment and keeping our oceans clean, is what led (STC), to participate in the training process of seafarers. The worldwide unification of standards of training for all seafarers is regulated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) through the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers (STCW-78 as amended).
Our Training Center (STC), has been fully authorized and recognized by the Panama Maritime Authority and the Government of Honduras, to perform and offer training courses on behalf of these Administrations and all our procedures are certified by ISO 9001-2008. The Panama Maritime Authority and the Government Of Honduras has set the minimum standards needed for all levels of personnel based on the STCW Convention. As it is widely known, the emphasis of the STCW Convention has been shifted to practical skills and competence underpinned by theoretical knowledge. This is where our expertise and commitment is providing our clients practical training and solutions to their needs come in.
